Join the CodePHX Volunteer program!

Do you want to help kids create their own future? We use a variety of open source software and offline activities to teach kids about coding, robotics and more. Whatever your specialty is, we want you! Even if you don't know how to code, you can still help kids learn. We have a variety of classes and schedules that will fit your needs and ours. The City of Phoenix completes full background checks including fingerprinting for all adult volunteer applicants. Please indicate your level of experience and the class, day and time you are interested in working when you apply!

Coder Dojo you can assist our CodePHX instructors with classroom activities and games, Code.org and other online code instructions as well as basic computer literacy. Many children need to 'catch up' on their computer knowledge to progress further in the classroom activities. You can help clean up, set up, greet, pass out surveys and teach coding lessons. Children are aged 8-12.
